i have backtested it on the EUR/USD for the last 10years!!!!!
i only do manual backtesting cause thats the only thing i can do ^_^

First thanks a million for your willingness to share what seems to be weeks and months worth of work and research.
The post from Therealthing, you mentioned about long tails was a true revelation for me too.
As DIBS entries are pretty much straightforward, is pretty obvious that at how we manage our trades, which are not stopped out before they reach FTT (they count around 50 % of all trades or so), that makes all the difference on the bottomline.
I did some research myself, although not as big as yours, and found out the simple truth is, the longer I am willing to hold my trails, the more profitable bottomline I get... which suits me, cause I am big fan of holding the ones that work LOL.
What I wanted to ask you, I did not catch this from your posts. Did you scale 50 % of the load at 1:1, as suggested by Peter Crowns, and then hold the remains trailing on weekly swings?
Profitability gets higher if you just hold the whole position, but it produces more volatility in the equity, as mentioned by Therealthing in this legendary post.
