I think you are right in that in the case of Fib Retracer, we already have a trigger for the trade (the Fib action), so we just need to know the best times to have the robot look for those triggers. As you said a cloud of arrows allows the bot to then find one which also meets the "trigger" requirements. NanningBob uses the MA cross as a trigger, but as you have noted, two triggers results in almost no trading opps coming along. Perhaps future bots could also be designed around using the NanningBob method to find the most fertile trading zones, and then their own trigger (without the MA cross as well).
