I don't see the preceding bar as a bull
I'm I wrong?
I thought you had to wait for the change although you caught a nice one there

DislikedYou're welcome.
Just as an aside, out of interest I modified the arrows indicator to display an arrow if (Bulls>0 && Bears>0) for buy and (Bulls<0 && Bears<0) for sells. It looks quite good. But I don't want to distract from the thread.

DislikedThanks. But can you please explain what are these. Are they different from any of the already existing indicator. Do u also have an EA here.Ignored
DislikedI have found indicators in some forums. alarm indicator is in the same place but I changed the name for ease of use.
The idea of how to use is:
Buy: Wait alarm, confirming that the line this up from 0, can be 0.25 to 0.50, this line should be in the direction upwards.
Sell: Wait alarm, confirming that the line this fall from level 1, can be 0.75 to 0.50, this line should be in the direction down.
This is just an idea, I am no expert. I'm trying to learn the art of trading in forex.
Thanks ESIgnored
DislikedThanks Vicente. Appreciate your input. When I download template It does not look like the chart you have shown,. Not sure why.Ignored
DislikedI just found out that Arrows on your indicator seem to come BEFORE the bar is closed.
I need to have it come AFTER BAR is closed and confirm that bear /Bull number has changed.
ThanksIgnored
DislikedES,
No problem - the attached (new) version takes the closed bar, so it will now alert at the open of the new bar and not during the formation of the current bar. Should do what you want now

DislikedHi ES,
Any luck with the EA? I have always engaged the service of a programmer to write an EA for me.
Over the past 2 months, i've already gotten them to write 2 EAs for me.
Do PM me, we may be able to come up with something, i'm still a junior member and can't PM...not sure when i'll be upgraded to be a registered member....Ignored
DislikedThanks for your input. I do believe EA would really help,, since many real good signals seem to come around Asian session when many in US are sleeping.
Some of the really great programmers on this forum like Ronald Raygun and others do not believe this system can be programmed into an EA.
May be some one can suggest some changes to the system without changing basic concept , may be we can get an EA.
ThanksIgnored
DislikedIndeed, i'm actually in Asia, so with an EA, likewise, entries can be made while we are asleep.
I saw Ronald mentioned that there's an issue with your SL, i actually have 2 suggestions for that -
1. SL can be pre-set by the user, for example 40pips or 50pips, etc
or
2. SL can be determined by the EA, take the lowest (for a Long Position) point from the last 2 candlestick or the highest (for a Short Position) point from the last 2 candlestick.

i'm all excited abt it. i'll be more than happy to help with parameter settings if needed.
afterall, i had experience with talking to a programmer to write an EA.Ignored
DislikedLets hope Ron or someone else will look into it. Eventhough initailly I thought 1hr chart was better , I have found higher time frame like 4 hr seem to make even more pips. I also have been using Damiani filter to avoid trading during ranging or Non Trending time .Ignored
