WTF are the specs to get a PC to handle $1.3T worth of daily data?
I nelly have lost all hope of ever being able to change the pozi of a trend line within a 2min space of time. That sux when you're on the fly figuring out whether to press the "lets play" button or not.
Anyone have any PC savvy relative to PC specs and DOES actually cut the mustard?Ignored
This is the most powerful civilian proc on the market today. It can handle 20 gigs of data per second, using six cores at 3.3 gigs per second each. Means it would process your data in about 1 minute. Thats assuming you have an application that can make use of 6 cores, which most can't.

240 cores at 1.3 gigs per second each. That would get the job done in about 3 seconds assuming you can adapt your application to its C based structure. Its possible, but resources are required...
