DislikedThere is absolutely no point in that!
In fact I am wary of back tests as long as 1 year, the market changes so quickly, the best we can do is to closely monitor the performance in forward testing and adjust the settings as the market changes!Ignored
DislikedWhich of those 2 EA's are giving the best results? v7 or camvcvoo?Ignored
DislikedAre 0.1 lots for a 1000 dollars account good enough or should I try something lower? Since it's pretty risky I should maybe adapt the lotsize properly.Ignored
DislikedI am using 0.1 on a $1000 micro account but you are correct this way too risky!
However, my account is one that I use only for testing new EA's so it is not so important to me.
If this was an account that I was hoping to make good, I would be using 0.01 lots, the minimum for an Alpari micro account!
Then, I like watching paint dry!Ignored
DislikedI'm going to stick with 0.06 lots for now. Thanks for your thoughts.Ignored

DislikedHi Geoff
thanks for all your work
Is it possible in CAMVCVOO to reset the choice "hide targets" like in V7?Ignored
DislikedThis EA looks to be profitable only from end of April 2009 onwards.
Ignored
DislikedWhat I would do:
We know that a loss can be 420 pips. Convert in $ and this amount must not exceed 2 or 5% of capital, depending on the amount of risk you are willing to take.
Example: use 0,01 (micro) lots with 1400$ account an you'll be trading quite safely with 3% risk.Ignored
