DislikedWoot !!! Another successful ALF (A Lou Favorite) ... LOL
Exited @1.3189 for +20
Because - 1. Traded into Resistance with no real news to help drive price.
2. 5 Down arrows in a row so expect a bit of a pull back.
3. The system rules I am using say exit at 20 pips unless strong indications to let run

DislikedHi Lou,
Here is an example. If the current candle closes above ALF, will it then be a valif long as TVI turned upwards already? Should we be weary of that red trandline?

DislikedHi guys,
I pips eventually closed the trades on a profit of 42 pips for eurusd and 28 pips for usdchf.
The green and red indicator is a non lagging moving average indicator that follws price closely. If u apply it on your chart, it helps you stay in the trade longer and make more pips.
Green signifies an uptrend and red colour means a downtrand. I also use it to exit my positions. It helps me stay longer in the trade even when ALF crosses PA.
You can try it and see how it works for you.
Thanks Lou.

DislikedHi pipzap,
I like the indicator you attached. Thank you!
I think it works best on 15 minute time frame. But how to avoid false signals?Ignored
DislikedThanks Lou and pipzag for sharing.
Question for pipzag : When you say you try to confirm trend on H4 or daily, do you also use the color of NonlagMA for direction or something else ?
Also do you wait for close of candle to enter and to exit ?
Would be nice to have an indicator with arrow, alert and email when:
- Enter Long when: On H1 NonLagMA crosses AFL from below with TVI green and NonLagMA green on H4.
- Enter Short when: On H1 NonLagMA crosses AFL from above with TVI red and NonLagMA red on H4.
- Exit when on H1 NonLagMA changes color from...Ignored
DislikedTo avoid false signals on lower TF with the NonlagMA, you have to check PA on higher TFs and look for a suitable entry on ur chosen TF.
Dont know why i prefer using 1hr TF. I think lower TFs are too fast for me. Nevertheless, thats just the gist behind it.
Happy trading!Ignored
