I have a question... i was trying to place a Buy Stop order at 10pm on Friday Australian time, and it came up with an error even tho the Forex market is still very alive in the US etc.
Does the company not allow trades after 5pm Friday Australian time???

Positive update for you all:
We have made a fundamental change to the type of connection running to our live trading server this morning in conjunction with our hosting company.
From discussions with our server administrators, MetaQuotes and some clients we believe that the issue of slow execution for some clients should no longer be evident. Whilst we are not counting our chickens before they hatch, we are confident that clients should see an improvement and we would welcome any feedback.

Dislikedthat is a worry....I have had more delayed executions in the last week ( during London) or so than before that.
I have been informed by support that an 'upgrade' recently installed might improve things. We'll see.
Id be interested to know how much different other brokers might be....if any other broker has significnatly less execution delay then ultimately that is where my money will go.Ignored

Just found this thread - I have been having execution problems for the last month or more ... and I just read an email that you have updated your systems. However, my executions on Friday and today are still very slow - as soon as i click on Buy/Sell, metatrader responds "ORDER IN PROCESS" and screen stays that way for about 4 seconds, before filling me to the MARKET PRICE. Now what else can be done?? It seems though i am still having slow executions.

DislikedYou should check your build and maybe reinstall as the fix we have done and comments from clients and also comments on this forum has shown that the main problem has been fixed.
The actual problem was that our co-location centre had our main server on half duplex connection not full duplex (whatever that means) but this wasnt the case for the demo server ip address hence the demo was always instant.
We are not leaving it there though as we will also be adding more servers shortly as metaquotes have advised we do this due to our growth in client...Ignored
DislikedJust an FYI that GO Markets is no longer opening corporate/partnership accounts for U.S. citizens. They will honor existing accounts, but no new ones. They have not changed the verbiage on their website yet, but have made this move in response to recently enacted anti-money laundering legislation here in the States.Ignored

DislikedI'm interested to know if there is any benefit in having a GoMarkets australian a/c over a GoMarkets NZ a/c. I'm a New Zealander, I'm assuming GoMarkets nz is a white label company. Has anyone had any problems with the NZ firm.

It is a bit strange that you are still getting a delay on your execution. As you can see from comments above from other clients the execution speed has been improved and we have located and fixed the problem. Have you yet spoken to anyone here directly? It would be useful to get the IP address so we could run a test.
I would appreciate it if you coudl call me directly.
How is everyone else going since the fix?
