DislikedI think you need to read Magix's excellent post once again as to his reasons why he doesn't leave positions open at the weekend.

DislikedHey brother, You the one that started that last rumble by name calling so chill...
I really dont give a hell whether you were right or he was right, I'm just trading. He got it this time, maybe you get it next time?
GL and green pips!Ignored
Dislikedand was convinced otherwise seeing as I've never traded a gap and have only been trading 5 weeks live...
The only reason I bring it up was cause magix climbed into bb quite hard when he said he was holding longs...
Lets just drop it, Not keen on being battered for the next 30 min!!Ignored
Disliked1. There is a nice little feature on the thread, "Search this thread", click that and type in the word Mango. (where did the name calling start?)
2. Check back to March 1st.
3. There are how many hours per week to play a playable market?
4. Check my last H4 chart and topside predictions, check my last chart for 30m 200ema retrace.
5. I always encourage safe trading and playing your charts.
Really Paw, you see how easily things get out of hand here, you are just starting to come into your own, is this really where you want to find yourself?...Ignored
DislikedI am not having a go at you Pawpaw, you're too nice for that and like me you are still learning. Magix is Magix and there is only one Magix. He talks a lot of sense in my books, even if he comes across a little harsh at times, but that is probably due to frustration more than anything else. Sometimes you need to read between the lines.
I'm sure you got enough battering on Saturday! Did you win by the way?Ignored
DislikedWith you on the safe trading Magix and I really dont wanna get involved. Sorry for my comment, didnt wanna insult anyone...
I guess its up to each persons strategy and also lot sizes and mm etc..
BB could have been long with 0.0001% as he felt thats what he wanted to risk.
But ok, doesnt matter. I'm gonna get to bed so I can be ready for london open!!!Ignored
DislikedThe beauty of a public thread is that it is a place to exchange ideas.
My point was that, closing a trade Friday, nobody loses.
That's all.

DislikedLet me say this first, you are 100% responsible for every trade you take.
For those of you new to market or have forgotten as far back as March 1st, let me bring you to an upswing from Friday into a massive gap down for Sunday open....Ignored
DislikedPaw Paw,
The idea behind the gap is not to open the short and catch 50 - 60 pips. What if it gaps the other direction? Now you have to move 120 pips to make 60.
Better idea:
Open a hedge once it gaps, find the turnaround spot and close the position that has the proft. Now ride it back the other way.. You could even put in an extra trade at that point too. (Takes some experience to do this very effectively). Now your 60 pips would turn into 90+ if the gap covers. (Which it usually does to a decent extent.
