With FXCM I got stopped out many times while I was still in the trade with an institutional broker.

I think we can never simulate real results with signal providers results. There results are taken from most ideal condition.

Quoting sidekickDislikedWhat broker are you using?

Quoting fx_electronDislikedLook, I bet they would never be able to simulate their own posted results, that's why they are in the business of providing signals and not in the business of trading them. Don't feel bad about it and thanks for your update.
At least we known that you are not an imposter...Ignored
Quoting MkckyDislikedHi Sidkick,
I am using REFCO, Thats same like FXCM. Do you think using 45 pips stop loss would have stopped those extra 5 stop loss trades? if thats the case my results would have been around +270 Pips.

Quoting MkckyDislikedHey FX_Electron,
I am only one who posted detail results everyday and you thought I am imposter? Shame on you.

Quoting fx_electronDislikedI said you are NOT an imposter. May I then suggest that you find someone else to act out your frustration on, because I am really not a proper person.Ignored
Quoting FX4DislikedMkcky,
I think using 45 pips stoploss isn't a bad idea unless we have a bad week with mostly loss.

Quoting MkckyDislikedWhich option is better? 1)using stop loss of 45 pips or 2) Entring trade with better price of 5 pips?
Another issue is about closing half position after trade is +20 pips. If we look at results, first lot has half the profit of second so why loose that profit by closing half trades early?

Quoting FX4DislikedThis is a tough question. I think entering trade with better price of 5 pips will miss some good trades, but one the other hand, I think it works for 70%-80% of the time. My observation is that we can do that on USDCAD & EURJPY at a much higher chance. Do you agree? I am wondering if we should pick and choose which pair to appy which strategy. What do you think?
Regarding to closing half position, I think there are many trades that are break even for the 2nd lot and that's why closing half position at +20 pips makes sense.

Quoting MkckyDislikedThis is the new Rule put on the Fx-dealer website. Why would they do this any comments?
MkckyIgnored
Quoting FX4DislikedI'm not sure what the reason is behind this. To me, it sounds negative and I've sent them an email about how I interpret it. Without further explanation, it sounds like they are setting a goal of +50 pips only and if this is the case, it doesn't sound very attractive. What do others think?
