Why on earth are there no university programs/courses offered for teaching people the technical analysis of successfully capturing pips! If this is the largest market in the world, and millions of people are interested and actively trading in it, it just seems ludacris that you can't study it in university...Ignored

well, i think the reason/s they dont teach it is/are:
-it's difficult to teach
-very few are qualified to teach
-if ever, it will lessen the school of "small fish"
-if ever, it will lessen the number of employed people & increase the number of self-employed

But what I was trying to get at, was that everyone needs to LEARN somewhere. You can't expect me to believe that the successful traders you are talking about, just sat down at their computers and taught themselves. They needed to have acquired knowledge from somewhere or some thing...Ignored

either u acquire knowledge through acquired/"passed-on" knowledge,
via experience/getting self-taught or
a combination of both.
i am not successful yet, but i can say i learned via a combination of both: i was ignorant of FX trading prior 2005/2006; i virtually have no relatives/friends aware of & doing this, even up to this moment. i got into FX trading, first by experience (i got scammed), then by acquired knowledge (via forums, but mainly via Forex Factory-- late 2008/early2009)
