Hello ff members & guest,
Welcome to my very first thread!
Just wondering if there is any interest in forward testing, and developing this idea further.
Initial forward test results today weren't too bad on low spread pairs.
On eurusd today I had 8 wins 2 losses, gbpusd had 5 wins & 2 losses.
usdchf had 4 wins & 1 loss today.
Pairs that had spreads of 4 and above not so good.
Seems to be a problem with the ea in that it only seems to open buy orders for some reason so will need a coder to take a look.
Most of my test so far was on an earlier version which requires you to enter a different magic number for each chart/pair you put it on which can be a pain so uploading this one instead, but also seems to have exact same problem & probably results as the first, it is also only opening buy orders so far.
I'm sure adding a time or ranging indi filter would help it stay out a sideway markets.
Maybe someone can even add mm &/or a very conservative martingale type system to the ea.
