Has anyone had success trading this EA with a 5 digit broker???
I have now tried 3 brokers and no-trade on any of them. Can someone suggest a 5 digit broker that I can try for demo, as none of the ones I have work.
Let us keep developing, as I believe there is some potential with this system.

DislikedI wonder if it were prudent to consider a change of name for this thread so it does not end up in the recycle bin like its little brother, the C4 manual trading thread, owing to the fact that FrankenPip has been banned, as someone discovered that he was not who he said he was.

DislikedGood suggestion, but since we haven't been binned, we should be OK. The site managers are probably checking on the thread starters and so far I am looking good.
By the way, if you have 2,000,0000$ to spare I can trade them for you with this EA and return 0.01$ to you in 2 weeks.Ignored
DislikedMy results for today (13 winners, 2 losers, 6TP/18SL, E/J, 8:00-18:00 trading, only long, FxPRO). All winners were above SMA(6) and my losers below, which is why I suggested the filter.....Ignored
DislikedPlease understand that I am not knocking everyones efforts on this EA but in my experience I have never seen a trading method with a stop loss bigger than the take profit that has been successful over a longer period of time.
In the previous test, the stop loss was 18 and the take profit 6. Every time you have a loss, you will need 3 winners just to get back to break even.
You can keep chugging away at this EA if you want, but I believe that you will see from all of the backtesting that long term this is a disaster waiting to happen.

QuoteDislikedif that's the case, the coloring of the bars is doing nothing more than misspainting the true live picture..... of course it's painting the historical picure correctly, but then so does the zigzag.....
QuoteDislikedlook at the latest picture he has posted..... it's easy to see, we all want to see, the trade frank is speaking of..... but what about the equally valid short trade just prior to the long trade.... the ea will not overlook it, nor a few others on that chart.... you will get whacked so often you'll loose confidence.....

QuoteDislikedonce we get it running, the need for filtering will be painfully obvious.... if it isn't already....

Here is the backtest of August with your settings.
In my opinion, this EA needs one or several filters to improve it.
Or the system is bad....Ignored
DislikedMadscalp,
Since we don't have any filters until a programmer help us, I ran my tests one day at a time and choosing direction according to that days trend. That way the results are much better. Obviously, if we need an all weather-EA we need to start playing with 1-2 basic filters.
Initially, I was envisioning this EA as something that a user could run for 2-3 hr blocks with minimum oversight, then as soon as a trend changed the user could change direction of trading, TP/SL, etc. for another 2-3hr block. Suggestions?
Regards,
Kostas.
