Also, you are completely forgetting the bull run from march till date. Does that make sense. it doesn't but if you look at the bigger picture, it does. Govt is filling the deficit by doing QE that means banks will have more money to lend to businesses and mortgage houses (where I live, in kent, house prices have gone up by 5% btw).
All in all, I said it before you are compairing looser to another one. and US is much bigger looser than UK atm. Hence pound will go strong.

UK banks have billions worth of fixed income assets in USA (uk financed them by underwriting loans) so it's in the interest of UK and US if pound goes up. New US govt has to prove worth and govt in crisis (labour) needs the same.

Uk in worse condition than US ...local tescos opened for 300 job there were 4000 applicaants at grocerty store... who the hell really wants to work at a grocery store for min wage , obvously the 4000 people that are unemplyed and will take anything.
Look at daily .. up move was cooked .... it was going up on declining volume.
Maybe the rumour that BOE was stopped QE was false ..lol ..no they would not put that out there to manipulate price upwards ?
