DislikedIt may have hurt, but often times good medicine tastes like &^!$#!!!
I even saved the post to my hard drive to slap me upside the head when i need a dose of reality.
I am not making a living at "private" trading as i post this, though through a combination of various investments (IRAs/Stocks/ManagedAccounts/ETC...) I have calculated what is needed to leave the workforce and add my "private" trading crumbs to the income mix. . . and i'm on target for my escape.
-----one more thought ....
And it has been touched on a bit elsewhere... "Making a Living" is very subjective. I'm not in any way saying one should compromise or lower what their personal standards of what "Living" is, but there are lifestyles that don't take a whole lot of income that are full of "life"! There are those, like my wife and i, that are perfectly content and alive living a simple lifestyle out in the middle of nowhere on a small farmhouse with acerage, livin' in the wilds, and doing it on fumes...like less than $2000 a month including all living expenses... And there's even a nice Volvo v70xc in the gravel driveway. grin.
Just a ramble.
