Disliked.....You then trade any breakout from this channel. Once you have your Hi & Lo timeframe is immaterial, you're now looking solely at PA, the breakout could be 1 minute into your trading time or in 3 hours.....Ignored
DislikedHave been spending 3 days to back test and the setting i used make money from Nov 2008 till July 2009 [before Nov never back test] and counting [except for the month of April which lose about $10]. Best Month May, up $772, winning range from $100+ to $700+ [calculated based on per month return]. My back test assume the account balance of $2500.
I'm already trading live since Monday.
Through my manual back test , I had learned that losses cannot be prevented and you just have to take it as part of the system. The winning will eventually cover...Ignored
Dislikedhi, this weekend I will prepare a guidance with my style of rules, I am tied up right now with work. I looked at your chart there and I saw -46 and -48? what are they? and how did you get them? For long if 7 pips + spread and for short 7 pips no spread. I could of had about 130 but on one I got lucky where when I entered in manually the price pulled back like 4-5 pips, I think it was on wednesday and that way my 2nd TP hit for profit for full 100 pips that day, other wise I could of had 130 pip week...... But give me some time, on the weekend I...Ignored
Dislikedhi all. Ok guys I will give some full details how I do the breakout strategy. Note: This week Iwill switch to 15min chart, I have back tested it with 15 min chart and I found that if I have used 15 min chart I could of had the TP1 on friday by 30 pips and instead loosing the whole trade.
1. so on a 15 min chart draw 2 lines between 2 am - 5 am (according to my brocker my chart time I see is in GMT).Ignored

DislikedGreat job Fed
At last somebody total up this strategy. Actually I don't know which is more profitable ( Fed's version or Tasciy's version)
I have to do backtest Tasciy's strategy. As far as backtest Fed's version it was done by Forexisfx's and rating is positive.
I have question to Fed
I just wonder if the high/low lines is greater then 60 pips you wrote that don't place SL there, that's mean you don't trade those days?Ignored

DislikedThere are a few different variations of this system... using 3-5 gmt or 5-7 gmt, using 1 tp or 2 tp...
All of those seem to work ok for 2009, but I don't see any combination that worked well for 2008. Has anyone found a successful version of this system that worked well in 2008 and continues to work well in 2009?
I'm trading a version of this live, but I don't know how much longer I will unless I can prove to myself that it will work in the long run.
Thanks for your help!Ignored
