DislikedHello everyone,
I am new to Forex Factory and recently started trading. Still using a DEMO account (3 weeks), and watching the GBP/USD pair mostly.
I have been enjoying the FF banter and learned a lot since being a guest.
Just trying to get a better idea of the technical indicators, I use the 1 Hour charts and a couple of indicators including MACD (21,55,8), SSD (8,5,3), RSI (14) along with S&R which I am picking up from you guys.
From your experience using the 1 hour charts what indicators would you recommend and their settings?Ignored

DislikedHi Welsh Boy & Welcome,
From my own experience (I'm a new trader too), one of the biggest mistakes we make when starting out is to work from the lower time frames and then load them up with "indicators" we don't really understand and thus confuse ourselves when they tell us slightly different things.
IMHO, keeping the charts clean and working from higher time frames...i.e. Weekly/Daily while learning (ON DEMO) to identify strong PPZ's (Price Pivot Zones) and PA (Price Action) is the best/easiest way to become a good, consistent trader.
