DislikedHey Clode,
If this were a swing high, I'd think Asia was giving us the finger.

DislikedLooking for a profitable interday or intraday EA
Hey, Do you have a good profitable EA that you can give me please- Im new to Forex and I would love to have an profitable EA.Ignored
From an earlier post of mine:
I agree with the very high probability of confusion inherent in the learning process, if not even better to say inevitable confusion unless you grew up in a trader family or had a mentor besides you.
My forex start was initiated by an expert advisor advertisement. I've spent the first 80 bucks to find out that I need to be profitable for myself, because a machine won't be. Nevertheless I tried a couple of the free ones and found the evidence, that no EA has consistent POSITIVE results. Only the ones with a SL as far as the distance to the moon are short term profitable, but believe me, if you accept that this SL is hit sooner than later you have to be damn crazy to give such a machine the control over your real money.
Now I found me at the point to get something learned, but what ? So came across some forums with tons of information, which was an overload for a newbie as me. That's where the confusion started ...
Stick with clockworks and james16 threads, they will open your eyes and show you that you can make yourself a profitable method which will cost you a couple of hours every week at a maximum if you learn to master your method.

DislikedIf you're looking for a profitable ea you may as well just go to a bookmaker and give him your money instead. You'll have more fun and reach the same destination quicker.Ignored
DislikedI disagree, if you find a profitable non-discertionary strategy, then a good EA based upon it will also be profitable!
However I believe that EAs are best for backtesting potential profitable strategies - so as to be able to dicard those that are not profitable or have too big a risk/draw down.
A good EA based upon either of Joel Rensink's free strategies would be profitable - but why bother running them as an EA when they only take 20 mins per wek to trade manually?
