DislikedHi,
Since the source code of HG_MTF was not available, I had to write my own. I would never trade live on executables written by someone I don't know. Compare the outputs, check out the code and you'll know why.

DislikedHi Everyone
So, I guess what I have learned today is that a 10 pip stop is too close for this system. And that I should do what Edge does and always grab 10 pips if it is on the table.
Feedback from the professionals would be welcome!!
Thanks

DislikedHi Everyone
Today was my first actual trading day with the system!! On advice, since I am learning, I was looking only at 1 pair (so I could focus). I chose the EURUSD because it has the least volatility.
I started at 0700 UK time (0600 GMT) and I have taken 5 trades.
3 break even
2 profit 12 + 7 = 19 pips.

Not very good I know!!!!!
My broker allows a minimum stop of 10 pips so as soon as I entered a trade I set the SL to 10. Perhaps because I was scared my MM was over-cautious.
On all trades, as soon as the price starts to move in...Ignored

DislikedHi Anne
TP and SL will depend on what timeframe you're trading.
Which one are you on?
I'm only trading EU this week. Started at 07.00 BST and haven't taken a trade yet. As we've only recently had our first colour change on HGMTF after 11 hours, I assume you're either trading crosses of the TM line or using one of the other indicators as a trigger?Ignored
DislikedHi Everyone!
The pullbacks weren't enough the change the colour of the indy. Perhaps this was naughtly of me as it is not in line with Paulus' system of waiting for colour change.

QuoteDislikedGood day to you, Edge
I want to confirm your settings for the Plan A type trades. You have optimized to the following settings for the pairs you follow:
- FT is set to 10
- TM is set to 10 for CCi and to 20 for ATR
Could you kindly confirm? Thank you for your time
Regards

Have you noticed your FT indy set to 10 is identical to TudorGirls Vorticity? Her's might be even faster to signal. The FT histogram is interesting to see the trend increasing or slowing down to confirm price action. Just an observation from overlaying them on each other.
TudorGirl proves right again as she states in Post 43 in Nisha's nice thread: http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...=175552&page=3
She says you only need 2 indy's ...otherwise we fool yourself with more. I've used too many before TudorGirl came along....Ignored
