DislikedIBFX prohibited hedging. I think it has to do with a law that was passed.
IBFX quote:
Recently the NFA issued new regulations prohibiting traders from hedging (having long and short positions open on the same currency pair at the same time). We realize that said regulatory changes will affect the trading style of many customers.Ignored
DislikedAny way to get around this other than using a different broker? What are you guys who use ibfx and this strategy doing? IE, how do you determine whether to place a buy or sell stop?Ignored
DislikedIBFX recommends opening another account. One for longs and one for shorts.Ignored
DislikedHey thanks a lot to everyone I started using this method this past week and it has paid off. I did a couple of variations to it like adding a QQE indicator with a level of 50 and then a CCI plus some moving averages this just helps me confirm the entry and exit points better. But I do not see a reason why anyone couldnt make an easy 30 to 50 pips a day using this. Its as simple as its gonna get for trading. Just use good money management and you should be good.
Agian thanks to all in this threadIgnored
Dislikedi did this method before seing this threads and i have a point to work on the money management cause the sl is too far if you put in and the opposite signal. My second question wll be on the tp when exit i do it on psycho level but the thing i take like 40% of the potential of the trade.Ignored

DislikedNormally if you do what I did in my previous post to this and the lines are at 1100 and 1300 GMT .Ignored
Dislikedwhat u say is so good real ,what i undrstand is if CCI 63 i exit but what moving averages what i do by it and what Settings u uoed in moving average
thankxIgnored
DislikedWell pretty much just put the two horizontal lines and vertical lines I put mine at 1100 GMT and 1300 GMT. Then if it goes down sell goes up you buy.
For exit I normally just have a CCI with value of 63 and look at that for exit signals. The moving averages are kind of lagging when it comes for exit signals so I would stick to the CCI.
Also I normally am out before the prices reverses, by just putting a 15 pip trailing stop and normally exit by the time I hit 70 to 100 pips. After that I normally satisfied with my win and don't want to be greed...Ignored
