I don't know if we have ever thought about it. I guess it will just happen as it happens. As for backtesting, I personally think it should always be a part of what we are doing here.
We should not spend more then a few weeks testing pairs that arn't producing profits over the last 3 weeks.
My biggest thing that I will start working on is keeping my trades seperate so I can easily see which pair made which trade and then I can start evaluting a pairs reliability of follow it's 3 week back test parameters.
Other than that, maybe Gary has something else to add.

What are your plans with this EA w/ regards to time?
I'm thinking about:
- timeframe for testing in general
- timeframe for getting rid of pairs that do not produce results or going negative (how many weeks are we testing underperforming pairs/TF's)
- timeframe for assessment of backtesting and beginning of forward testing
- timeframe for forward testing
Thanks!
