DislikedHey Tony
I like your style, lol
I have a question. Does this happens to you?Price way ahead of the actual charting! What do you do if it does? It is realy annoying, your strategy can not be traded if this happens.
ThanksIgnored
Dislikedwell if it has a 90% win ratio on a 5sec chart this would maen a lot of opportunities and that too with a reward:risk of well above 1 (you say your stop is 10 pips and ur tp 15/25/50/100 this would make it a very profitable strategy.
Problem is there are a lot of fake outs, price pops 5 bars in one direction then falls right back how do you avoid this ..... do u use any indicators or filters or something similar to avoid fals breakouts Tony?
ThanksIgnored
DislikedHi tony want to know when do you get on high alert and start looking for this action.

DislikedTony, no the last sentence was mine... i think of it while i was writing the post... But i think that it represent about what the two of us (and the people who are interested in the system) are thinking...Well, there is so FEW ressources about the price action HIMSELF out there, that i think this thread is refreshing...If everybody could share their results, all together we could make a really profitable system.

DislikedOK first thing I notice... your chart is 2 pips interval. I set mine to 5 pips.
Second thing to avoid this to happen follow this: wait for a 6+ pips bar followed by extremely fast price action in the same direction... in your case..there was nothing major happening since we are in 2 pips intervalIgnored
DislikedTony I'm new to oanda,
I wanted to nkow what you mean by "your chart is set to 2 pips interval" & "I set mine to 5 pips" could you tell me what you mean by this.
I noticed oanda platform is not an exe based but browser based java. This is normally much slower and tends to get stuck a lot. Do u use this same browser platform to trade 5 sec charts or is it a different platform other than fxtrade. Do u find it fast enough to trade 5sec or do u use NT or some other more stable platform other than fxtrade.
Please pardon the questions I used...Ignored
DislikedYou can get the java desktop version I believe:
