DislikedIt looks like the GBP/CHF would have TP'd trading on a 1M chart after a forth level trade at the end of last week. I think I remember Bob saying he hard wired these EA's so we won't be able to trade on a 1M chart will we? A 1M chart may be the way to go with the most volitile pairs. Will do some manual backtesting.Ignored
DislikedWell the strategy tester works in IBFX and doesn't in FXDD using the same ea's and exactly how I set them up in FXDD, so apparently FXDD is the problem.
Now another question... you guys are talking about changing the levels to get the best numbers. What exactly are you changing to test? Is it the H_Level number because nothing I change is working for me.Ignored
Dislikedyea i know.. so where are you changing the numbers to look at different lines? i.e. instead of 90 pips away from the white, 120 etc.Ignored
Dislikedthanks paradoxical.
Ok, I see now.. at the bottom of the ea code is where you can modify the 90 numbers.. then you can test it in the strategy tester... I put your 160 in on the level 3 for EU and it performed way better than the 90 did for january.Ignored
Dislikedanybody know how the green and red lines are drawn? I don't see it in the EA and it isn't an indicator.. some kind of math it seems that is saved in the template.Ignored
DislikedClick on "Indicators" and you'll see "moving Average". Double click the first Moving Average you see, and go to "Levels". In that box, you'll see 90, 180, and 270. These represent the distance from center of each of those lines. You can change them to whatever you want, and if you do, the distance you change it to will be reflected on the chart.Ignored
