Many of us are listing our favorite books in our profiles. But I would like traders to elaborate on books you recommend.
By doing this, I'm hoping to expand my own knowledge and help others do the same. I want this thread to be more than a "read this" thing. There is a reason why I have read certain books as I'm sure you do and would like to know what that is. Some of the books I have read so far are.
Currency Trading for Dummies. I find no shame in having a "For Dummies" book. We all where newcomers at one point and it helps me review the basics.
Trading in the Zone: Master the Market with Confidence, Discipline and a Winning Attitude by Mark Douglas. Because an attitude adjustment is needed every now and again.
Crash Proof: How to Profit from the Coming Economic Collapse by Peter Schiff. Possibly the ultimate contrarian investment specialist. This book provides a common sense approach on how to CYA in harsh economic times.
The little book of Bull Moves in Bear Markets by Peter Schiff. I see it as an update and a continuation of Crash Proof.
Snowball: Warren Buffett and the Business of Life by Alice Schroeder.
This is the biography of Omaha's finest. "Snowball" is not a "how to" book. I am not becoming Buffett as a result of reading this book but it helped me better understand one of the world's most powerful men frame of mind and his methodology.
