DislikedThis isnt a dumb question at all I dont know the answer as I rarely use trailing stops, id imagine they would be much more useful in calmer times like the asian session sometimes but cable is a beast and chops about all the time.
Maybe someone who uses trailing stops can give you a better answerIgnored
DislikedPip is right..they are used for various sessions and time periods...choppy times is not a good idea...
But in calmer trades....If I first have a chance to place +BE and then move SL to 50% of range.....and if it starts to move in a rythmic pattern..then i will place TS in a nice big spread ~ 50 at first and remove TP limit..then getting closer to TP I drop it to 15 pips..and let her ride...Ignored
