DislikedRight now the EA has me in a JPY (buy) and CAD (sell). Both are negative right now.Ignored

DislikedFor the most part this whole test is using the default setting. I did change the SL to -50 early on as many of us felt that it needed room to "breath" in case it went against us initially. I had a few trades that came within ONE pip of going -50 before turning around to hit my TP. I've now adjusted my SL to -40 and my TP to +20 in order to see if I can better my results.
I'm using a MIG demo account. I also opened an Interbank demo and got absolutely horrible results. Why the difference? I have no idea.
Here's a graph that shows what the EA has done on MIG since I started it on 2/16:

DislikedWell, my 30 day MIG demo account is done. Here is what it did.
The EA made 119 trades with an 80.7% winning percentage.
My $50,000 demo account grew to $66,698.97, an increase of 33.4% (in 30 days)
I am submitting the paperwork for an MIG live account this week. In the meantime I have opened another Demo account ($1,000,000...just for the hell of it) to continue my "tweaking". I hope to go "live" by the beginning of April. I'll keep updating as things move.Ignored
DislikedHi mate,
Thank you for your work, I see now you rule this thread, so please, keep us up to date on your results,
Couple of questions here:
I'd like to concentrate my trading in no more than 2 pairs...According to your research, which pairs show the better results?
You said your acc grew 33%...What about your contract size? every trade the same? did you increase the contract size as long as your acc increases?
did you set MM to true or false?
what SL and TP gives better results?
I see there are several people following this system...
It'd be helpful for everyone to post their results here ...
Sundevil, I wish you the very best trading this method live...
Thanks...Ignored
DislikedI know that the GBPUSD is getting the best results, but I'd have to look to see which is in second place. My guess would be either the GBPJPY or the EURJPY.
The two that make me the most nervous are the USDCAD and USDCHF. This method really needs a currency pair that moves, as it is not designed to anticipate the "start" of a move, rather it gets in late. Thus a pair that is prone to larger swings will have a much better chance of hitting TP before it turns.
MM is set to "true", so the EA increases and decreases lot size as to the account size at the time of the trade automatically. Right now I'm testing a +20 TP and a -40 SL. I still have to go back and look to see if the -10 pip differece in SL is warranted, but it seems to be for now.
I've just opened a new Demo on MIG, so I will conitinue to test the EA over the next 30 days. The new Demo is $1,000,000 and it hit it's first trade last night (GBPUSD) for $19,800.Ignored
DislikedHi Mikhal,
thanks for all your effort on this EA.
I am about to test the EA and have a few questions:
How do I totally disable the TS, set TrailStopType to "0" or?
If I will use the TS to trail AFTER my originally tp is hit, how do I set it?
Thank you very much,
FTIgnored
Dislikedif you want to disable TS set trailing stop = 0;
If you want ts to activate only after a certain profit is met set TStype = 1, TStype = 2 will immediatly activate the as soon a market moves 1 pip in your favor.
Good luck,
MikhailIgnored
DislikedHi Mikhail,
thanks for your quick reply.
So if I wanna try ie TP 100 and a trail stop at 25, after the 100 TP is reached/locked in, I then set the setting to TStype 1 and then 25 pip trailingstop?
Does the "breakevenafterpips" have any affect on the above? I have set this to 50.
About the SL:
If i have a fixed SL at say 50, but there is a valid oppsiste signal, at say -43, will the EA stop out
and reverse the trade, even the -50 SL has not been hit or will it wait until -50 and then reverse?
Thanks for your help,
FTIgnored
DislikedThat's bad news. It's going to make next week pretty interesting.
I ran Beta3 for a day or two and it was a net loser, but I still had hopes for it.
Give it hell next week!Ignored
