hi all, here is an experiment i am thinking of conducting:
i have £1000 to use on this experiment
i wish to compound the capital exponentially
so that on day 1 of trading i make £100, day 2 = £200, day 3 = £400 etc...
i've read people trying to do this, proposing these experiments etc...
problem is...i have no idea how to execute it to be honest!
i'm using IBFX trader 4 demo account
starting with a standard account of $3000 (closest i could get to £1000), with leverage of 200:1
basically say i want to go long (buy) + gain £100, + the spread was 2 pips, and i trade a volume of £25.00 / pip, i'd want to gain total of 6 pips to make the £100. correct?
but when i tried to execute an order of buy with volume of £25.00, i couldn't because i don't have enough money apparently. why is that?
i don't understand? how can people talk of compounding starting with $100 and in 21 days aim for million etc... if the trade won't let you put high volumes/ pip?
please explain? are these people using different brokers? are they fibbing-i hope not.
any + all help will be appreciated. thank you all
