I've never understood the phrase "Trade with the trend".
You can read it everywhere: "watch out the larger time frame trend", "follow the trend", "don't go against the trend"...
I've heard phrases like "if everything is going up, then the trend is up"
It seems like the simplest thing to do.
But if it were, trading keyboards would have two buttons: a green one labeled "Long" and a red one labeled "short".
So, if I wanted to follow the trend, how could I recognize it?
I could use Woodie's theory and wait for 6 upward CCI bars, I could wait for a slow Stoch to cross and begin to go north after breaking 20, I could wait for MACD to have 5 upward lines and crossed...
But if you AE any of the above you'll see that you won't be able to buy low and sell high constantly.
So where is the trend everyone talks about?

Because of the topic, PLEASE, the "super wise" with their "super experience", and the "cheap sarcastic" go elsewhere, you're way smarter than this so please don't waste your time with your brilliant-one-phrase-to-think-about lines.
