DislikedHi Akukaya
Have been observing your EA for the last 30 minutes. The EA entered a trade on the GBPUSD as RSI 4 went up through the 70 line( I think) but price was rising fast and eventually had 3 trades open and all negative.
A possible filter could be either:
1. the rsi has got to make one or two lower low(s) before entering a trade.
OR
2. use a fast moving Stoch such as 5.3.3. and that has got to have crossed
down through the 80 line before entering trade.
.... but having said that I added the EA to more pairs this afternoon (UK) and it has...Ignored
DislikedHi akukaya
If there are more than one trades, what does the "10pips" mean? the average profit or total profit?
Cheers,
SimonIgnored
DislikedFrom my experience testing it is the overall profit of all sells or all buys, so if you're trading $1.00 lots it will close when it hits $10.00 profit total.
If you have 5 trades open it will close still close all with just $10.00 overall (10 pips), it does not matter how many trades are open they will stay open until your equity is just +10 then close.
So you might have 3 trades close -5 -20 + 35 = 10
*sometimes it may close out + 8 or +12 pips if it has a few orders to close and the market is moving fast in the mean time.Ignored
DislikedHello Akukaya.
Have you ever tried the following settings ?
15min TF, RSI 4, level 50.
Buy: at beginning of new candle RSI is above 50.
Sell: at beginning of new candle RSI is below 50.
If one could then add e.g. automatic sl15 and tp20 pips, should be profitable.
Will start monday trading this idea manually.
If profitable - maybe someone could make an EA out of it ?Ignored
DislikedPlease provide the parameter setting. Do you use default setting? How much the initial deposit and starting from when?Ignored
DislikedHi to all 4H 5EMA thread fans,
To make FF more fun, I have take Sterling challenge.
I like creativity and create a lot of EAs. Making EAs become like hobby now.
For Sterling Challenge 1, the system I put here is very simple:
I've done with backtest but not yet with forward test.
Results as attached.
Starting from next Monday, I will try it by forward test(live demo).
If it works as profitable, as agreed with Sterling, we will start count by another week or week after.
Below is the system rules:
1)Open GU with TF M15
2)Set RSI(4) Close,...Ignored
DislikedGiven the above picture - I think that settings of RSI 4 and buying at each new candle when RSI above 50 should give nice profits.
Vice versa for short trades.
With the current EA version - can I change it to the above parameters ?
Donīt really know much how to set up EAs, also do not really want one to be my main trading strategy, just would like to let above EA run on 2nd computer on a mini account.Ignored
