DislikedNice system.
With low settings of the smoothing factor, like 5, one can achieve rather easily an 80% success rate.
But to watch multiple pairs and on each position close partially positions and let the remainder run is pretty stressful.
Also one is glued to the screen non-stop.
Broker spreads also come into play.
What were your experiences regarding the best smoothing factors for TF 1 min ?
I prefer manual trading than using an EA - anybody having had several consecutive days of successful manual trading ?Ignored
DislikedVery choppy this morning for EUYEN, GBPUSD, EUUSD.
Unfortunaltely my broker has a spread of 4 points on EUYEN. Used to be 3.
But on each of the above currency pairs there was one nice bullish upward movement this am, which brought in around 80 pips together.
Just right after a couple losses during a sideways market.
But which system wins in a sideways market ??????
Maybe to avoid multiple consecutive entries during a sideways market which result in negative pips - a higher smoothing is needed ?Ignored

DislikedHi there,
I've been following this thread from day 1, but I felt I had nothing to contribute being a newb in fx.
So first a Thank You to Ninpo and Bonten for providing this method and EA.
I've been using v1.2 on the EUR/USD pair and let it run on a demoaccount, but it managed to chop my account in half in the course of one night.
I kept a close eye during the preceding day and saw several points on which I would have taken profit, but instead I just let it run.
So, hearing others having good results, something must be off in my settings I guess. I used 30 sm / TF 15.
@forexisfx, can you elaborate on your testsettings which provided the best results for you so far..? I would really like...Ignored
DislikedI think is not ur setting that has problem. Is the pair u trade that is the problem. Try trading EURJPY / GBPUSD / GBPJPY
I don't have any conclusion for my setting yet, there is still many setting on my platform that is doing almost the same results. The following is one of my setting. It's losing money from Asia till now btw. However, London session is not over yet.Ignored
DislikedThanks, will try other pairs.
Just to be clear, I wasn't looking for your definitive answer in which settings are the best. I was interested in finding out which settings you already tried and dismissed and which settings gave you the best results so far.
Guess I have to find out for myselfIgnored
Dislikedhey huys ,never ever argue about the setting, just use the original set 60 5
even the EA set ,put EA into your trade for a week ,let it be ok? at last !
u ll see what is ATM...Ignored
