DislikedI like this 8hr pin at pivot zone and about 50 fibo level. It is just triggered a few minutes back.
My first TP is around 107.80Ignored
Dislikedwhat alarms me is that the dollar seems to be catching up on jpy while elsewhere it's still being dominated, not sure if to take this trade would be a smart idea...as it is the 4H tells us the market is very much sideways...for now i pass...Ignored

DislikedGood to see you Rac.
I have been playing all pins very short term lately, no matter what tf. so i'm out of that one. I just dont have the temperment to hold through the volatility currently. yes of course its because i risk more than is normal.

Dislikedyep no matter what timeframe you trade on, if you learn to be disciplined and patient this material goes a LONG way

DislikedHello Ryan, first lets me congratulate you on your great participation in the J16 thread. Your words, as they were in the 4h macd thread are enlightening, intelligent and very helpful.
I really like you style of trading and the pragmaticallity at how you look at things. Also, do really feel that your style incorporate itself greatly with the great stuff Jim teaches and specifically PB
Please see picture of today which was a perfect exemple of your tactic.
Even though the overall trend is down, the curent mid-term trend for eur/usd is up when looking at daily, 4h and 1h.
Today, on the 5 min, there was a perfect exemple of a great setup:
- Positive divergence between RSI and price action
- i really nice PB at bottom of bolliger band and all that in the direction of the current trend.
If people could only wait for these setup only, big money is on the way.
So, kudo to you for great and simple way of trading which is really great according to me.
Sincerely
ShreemIgnored

DislikedDo you consider the GBPJPY a good setup Mike? This is not profitable yet unlike the ones you posted so would be really interesting getting your opinion before the trade plays out.
thanksIgnored
DislikedYep it's good stuff, I missed that one was on the phone but I did get long off a pullback to the middle of the BB, Easy stuff. Had about 4 good setup's today.Ignored
DislikedIMO this is a good trade also. But the real trades on gbp/jpy are all the gap trades that showed up on it the past 3 weeks. It was like free money if you ask me
I know you hate people posting "after" the fact(yes I read all the posts in here ). But it really isn't. Anyone who couldn't see the clear pins on the weekly charts is crazy if you ask me.
I know there has been a lot of this, "oh it is after the fact". I really never felt the need to address it. But those of you who doubt, that is your choice. But let me just say that the second I post a trade in real time, I receive the following emails/PMs. "that was awesome I made so much on that (insert pair), here thanks!". and "man I really thought that trade was good, too I lost on that, I put extra risk down cause you posted it". That is not what I want on my plate. Do I discuss trades before the fact? You bet all the time in my webinars. But this whole post before and after the fact. Just is a bunch of bologna with price action. This stuff plain works.
The fact is that this stuff is easy and hard at the same time. It take practice and time, but I promise you all this stuff works. I for one am so glad to have stumbled onto James and this thread. Just demo/trade small and build your confidence. It doesn't happen over night, but if it did none of us would be here and trying to learn to trade.
Best,
MikeIgnored
