I would like to know why the money run to the Yen when there are bad news, stocks plunge, etc. I've read many times that investors run away from risk and hide in safe currency... but why JPY is safe?
For me, it would make more sense the EUR to be safer because it represent a strong force of many powerful countries, the Yen is the currency of a powerful country but it's only one, and small, could dissapear with a big bomb in a war, or even with a tsunami or an earthquake, for me, that's unsafe.
Of course my logical deductions are crap in this case because the market doesn't behave acording to them, so I look forward to some comments.
Thanks.
