Dislikedthis might sound a bit bone idle (prob is actually) but looking through this thread there are lots of different versions etc.
is there any way that one of you could in a single post just put the files needed and the instructions for configuring this thing for a first time user of the news thingy?
It would be really helpful and you can have a pair of my old socks as a thank youIgnored

5. Then press ENTER to build the News Events History with the news events for the week starting Oct 7, 2007.
6. Re-start MT4 and attach the Plot_News indicator onto your chart(s).
The instruction manuals exist as Word documents and can be downloaded from post #108 (http://www.forexfactory.com/showpost...&postcount=108). Sorry, these are not completely up to date, but I will attempt to remedy this and post the latest versions as soon as I can.

Like all of the other parameters, your setting will be saved in any profiles and should also remain 'sticky' from one run to the next.
Again, I must point out that while I have firewalls and anti-virus operating on my PC config, by downloading and running the software, you agree to do so AT YOUR OWN RISK. My config allows testing on Win-98 and Win-XP Pro only.
I've released this version hurriedly so that you can continue to use Plot_News forthwith. Please report any errors in this thread.
Thanks

DislikedHi all
Not sure if it's just me, but Plot_News seems to have developed a problem in just the last few hours, where the descriptions are not being output on the charts. Is anybody else experiencing this?
I haven't modified the software recently, and it's been working correctly for some time now. I think what might have happened is that the format of the FF calendar has been changed. Perhaps the moderators could confirm this?
If so, the FFcal.EXE software will need to be modified to read the new format. Once I have confirmation from the moderators, I will work on this.

i life in Syria. So we have difference time i don't know how how to make it true +3 GMT
so the indicator ffcal it's have error...
i'm sorry for my English but really thank you for this workIgnored
DislikedHi all
It looks like the FF developers have changed the HTML format of the Calendar once again. No news gets plotted on my charts now.
I'm afraid that this may be the end of the road for the Plot_News indicator, at least in its current form. I don't have the time continue patching the software, if the FF developers are going to change the HTML format on a regular basis.
On second thoughts...... I need to know how many people would like to continue using this product. If enough find it useful, I will consider putting in the time and effort needed to keep it current. Please post your "vote" in this thread.
Thanks
