DislikedHi all..
Here I'd like to test if some of Jim's teachings reached my dizzy mind.
I read through this forum untill today and just started studying in the PF.
I am using a UK spreadbetting firm for charts and trading and the bars might not reach the exact same numbers as yours.
Now.. am I right in my analysis of this chart?Ignored
DislikedHeya Oloman,
for it to be a "proper" Two Bar Low the low prices would preferably have to be identical. I know there are compromises sometimes, but let's not start with them
On my chart that makes the second bar an Inside Bar.
As for the 50% and s/r, yes, agreed, the prior bar highs show potential for an s/r flip there and it has already been tested as flipped s/r => support that one time(18th Sept 2007) before the rise started.
So we will watch this area and if we go as low as there and get a reversal setup(DBLHC, BUOB, PB or an IB after a BEB that breaks upwards) for example, we could take that to get back into the main trend.
If we do.
Welcome among the ranks
Take care,

DislikedNow I discovered something else.. 2 double confluence fib levels..
The lower one still matches a support from previous tops + the MA line.. but how to know which one will be hit and which one will hold and send the price
up again?
or should I look for some price action confirmation to go long at the red confluence lines?Ignored
QuoteDislikedWas it a valid short entry after the TBL?
QuoteDislikedQuestions questions.. well, I'm greatful for any comments. Am I on the right track or am I looking at the wrong picture alltogether...
DislikedThank's Wiz. Very good point.. I see what you mean!
Btw, I see we have the same charting pac. Spreadbetting are you? Anyway, judging by the size of the pic you must have a massive monitor.. I'l l have to upgrade to se those larger time scales to see further back in time... and perhaps the future..
A tip from me to all. I can recommend Snagit as print screen program. very quick and clever program to edit a picture taken from any section of your screen. (I have nothing to do with them apart from using the program)

DislikedHi oloman,

P.S. Here is the same chart with most of the connecting tops and bottoms pinpointed.
P.P.S. To everyone that PM'd me about market rhythm. Compare what I told you with the Eur/Usd chart and tell me if you couldn't have see that bounce comingIgnored

Yes. Try not to enter anything "blindly".
Always wait for a price action setup to form and then in turn to be confirmed(a PB is "confirmed" to actually be one once it breaks, dito a BEOB/BUOB/DBHLC/DBLHC etc) when you're starting out practicing these things.

DislikedSeeking... have I missed something somewhere ??? Well, I know I have missed many things, BUT are you saying even a pin bar should not be traded after it breaks, until there is more confirmation ???Ignored
