Because of the relatively recent introduction of this currency I do have a problem with identifying historical levels on the EUR/USD and other euro crosses. It seems that each and every market data provider has its own opinion about how pre 1999 euro charts should look like. Having an access to about a half a dozen charting systems I can't find even two of them showing the same data on the the very major tops and bottoms in the past. Some even show that major historical levels, such as historical high on the EUR/USD for example, have been achieved either in 1992 (when USDX made a historic bottom) or in 1995 (when USD/DEM, USD/CHF and USD/JPY bottomed out). Given current trading levels, the accurate tech analysis becomes quite confusing and close to impossible because of these discrepancies. So, I wonder if anyone can provide me some info on the correct synthetic tops made in 1992 and 1995 with the exact description how it has been calculated initially. TIA
