DislikedCould someone tell me where to enter the buy and sell conditions of rsi 75/25?
It is alluding me at the moment.Ignored
DislikedHere's what you can do:
(1) Pull up the EA using "modify".
(2) Perform a search (find) on the string "BuyCondition" or the string "SellCondition" or even "RSI".
(3) When you find it, it should read 80 for the buy and 20 for the sell.
(4) Change it as you wish or leave it alone.
(5) Experiment with 77/23 or just use the recommended 75/25.
(6) If you change it, remember to compile.
This approach makes you do a little something.
Nothing personal, I just don't like being "spoonfed" and don't like "spoonfeeding" traders, because it diminishes the student's learning experience.Ignored

DislikedMoney: What market times do you trade?
Can one add a trailing stop to your breakeven + 10 strategy, to stop a
very early reversal at a reasonable loss, or will that confuse the system?
Best regards, GlennIgnored
DislikedGlenn,
Currently I don't use TS in this methodology.
If you believe in deep SL, then TS gets you "reasonable loss" (whatever that is!) but won't mitigate against an early reversal. On the other hand, +10 intercedes and saves profit. I like the latter option.
I think it works as follows:
Let's say you get a steep reversal en route to TP of 40 after an initial 20 pip move with TS of 10 (or 20), SL of 60, and BE of 15. The +10 locks in profit (assuming BE of 15) but the TS only moves SL by the designated number as prices move. So in this example, your SL is still far away (resulting in a "reasonable loss"). But +10 saves that profit and intercedes by preventing prices from reaching SL.
No matter how you vary the SL, TS, BE, etc., I think +10 is efficient and always stands in the gap protecting your profit. I could be wrong but the last time I thought so I was mistaken!
Let me know what you think.Ignored
DislikedThanks, Money. Will the +10 feature "go active" before the price reaches the BE 15?
I just LOVE the concept of locking in these pips and controlling losses. GlennIgnored
DislikedWhat I like about it is as your BE +10 is hit, it opens another trade in the same direction (as long as the conditions are still met). So, this morning on the Usd/Jpy, 3 times a position was opened to short, and all three times it closed with 10 pips in profit (BE +10). As volatile as it was, I don't think I would have had the same sucess with a TS.
My 2 cents.
P.O.P.Ignored
DislikedI moved the 75/25 up to Money's suggestion of 77/23. I will try it for a few days....
MoneyMaster's mods are so wonderful, I have been running around the neighborhood screaming happiness. It may well be that backing up a notch will give us ten fat pips on almost every trigger. I may try a tight stop loss to filter those occasional hit and run events, that do not make it to BE +10. Hoping. GlennIgnored
