DislikedI beg to disagree, that piece of excel calculator will not just calculate percentage of your equity, it divide proper lot amount to allocate in both hedged pairs. I have to defend this company since it helps me save more money than continuing paying Freedomrocks monthly subscription fees, and they also taught me a lot of technique how to utilize it to the fullest.
I trade it along side with my friend's Freedomrocks account, and it didn't give much difference with both their recommended lots to allocate (only a fraction lot difference). Sometimes, it gain more than what FR can produce.
It may be a simple spreadsheet, but what you paid is for the computation formula and their lifetime support, support which include of teaching you how to trade. There has never been unanswered email from them, they never lie of the possibilities and never heard them make any sales speech like other company do.
Did you purchased and used that calculator before you made that comment? If it just compute percent of your equity, can you show screenshot of it?Ignored
DislikedI'm sorry, it does indeed give you number of lots to allocate. So it computes percent of equity and gives you number of lots to allocate, and yes they do have good support.
How can you say it gains more than what FR can produce, if it calculates "only a fraction lot difference." Are you taking profit at a different time than your friend?
As far as I can see, there is no instruction on how to take profit, and there is also no "buy low, sell high" strategy as FR has.
For instance, in FR after we allocate our lots, we then place two orders on each currency pair, one buy low and one sell high. When the market reaches those orders we then recalculate and reenter, so that we are always buying low and selling high.
I did not see that strategy in place with the True North calculator. I suppose you could try to guess where to place the orders and do it that way, though.
What method do you use personally?Ignored

DislikedI don't really think I am at liberty to explain exactly how Fr trades without violating their copyright, but suffice it to say that I believe their "buy low/sell high" trades are a significant advantage over simply entering the market with all your allocated lots and taking profit when it "feels right."Ignored
DislikedBuy low and sell high sounds like you're trying to pick tops and bottoms. So, if it is, then how do you know when you've reached a high or a low?Ignored

DislikedGreetings friends,
I want to say that I wrote the previous posts about True North based upon my initial reaction upon first examination. It *seemed* to be merely a spreadsheet which showed how much a certain percentage of margin was and how big of lots to use.
However, I must say that upon more thorough study and lots and lots of interaction with the people at True North I have come to a different conclusion.
I now agree with Sam1 that this group is truly professional and can truly help one be profitible in trading. I have never had an email go unanswered and all of their responses are very informative and provide practical help.
So my deepest apology for any previous posts, I've now had a chance to really examine this product and the support provided, and I am one hundred percent supportive of True North and would recommend them to any and all people who want to become profitable in Forex trading.
Again, their email address is true_north at email.com, and I commend them to you wholeheartedly.Ignored
DislikedHi:
Are you still making 1%?
Any glitch from this strategy?
My testing, so far, i am getting 1%+, but some trade lated longer than 1 day and some last only few hrs. If I am selective on entries, it may help reaching profit quicker.Ignored

DislikedAre you using an EA to close the trades once it hits the 5% - if so, could you post it?
ThanksIgnored
DislikedSAM1,
While I have maintained interest in this thread, I think you should come clean that you are in fact True North or work for them. You say here that you "saw on the other forum"...when in fact you are the person that posted it on the other forum. Come on, we arent idiots and you are costing your company credibility.Ignored
