Dislikedcurrent signal on USDCHF... notice how its 21:45...an increment of my highest tf {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} {image} I don't understand, I have the same indicators and the picture is different. Maybe time zone ? {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Your patterns posted are all historical, then the highest TF candle closed. When entering the order, the signal in the higher time frames has not yet closed. Is it accurate. Are you entering the order in any way? You wait for the biggest TF to close and refresh to see the signal, or just have the signal at M1 to enter right awayIgnored
Disliked{quote} Read this again as this answers any questions. If you want to enter before your HIGHEST TF RSI finishes youll have to refresh and take a riskier trade. This way also repaints as you look back i believe however I don't trade like this. 15M is my highest TF RSI so my trades always take place on 15M intervals (when my highest RSI prints its cross) there's value of being on the 1 minute chart because im scalping less than 10 pips usually and my quick position is based around smaller time frame market structureIgnored
DislikedI use mt4, so the indicator in M1 without updating marks every minute, a signal that is not valid for me, but it is not until the end of the M15 candle when the signal would be ready, both M5 and M15 and if the rule is fulfilled indicated by totomagic, it could be entered, but for this the indicator must be updated or with autorefresh in the period that each one wants to set, at least every 15 min, which is when the M5 and M15 candle closes at the same time. Another thing is whoever wants to enter before the close of the M15 candle looking at M1,...Ignored
Disliked{quote} May i ask you with all respect, maybe i misunderstood, but: why would you use a M1 chart, if you would wait for the M5+M15 candle to close before entering? Then you can just use a M5 and M15 chart only right?Ignored
Disliked{quote} Correct, using M1 is not to enter before (it would be another option, but I prefer to try with a closed signal for now). I use M1 because it allows me to better see the price in detail for scalping, and I also like how the indicator is printed better, it's more binary, up-down, without curves.Ignored
Dislikedtotomagic also does not know how 5/15 min RSI will close, correct? Entry is made on 1 Min and before 5/15 RSI closed. No difference with MT4 - MT5.Ignored
Disliked{quote} wrong about what? you are very light on details, i cannot read your mind... which post in this thread in particular should i read? the one just above your reply which highlights how the system works? https://www.forexfactory.com/thread/...2#post14353192 or this one? https://www.forexfactory.com/thread/...9#post14348279 or this one? https://www.forexfactory.com/thread/...9#post14353159Ignored
DislikedI have seen that using M1 will give us the final crossover 15 candles later, not when it is marked on the chart in hindsight. {image} The same before 15 min: {image} It is not updated from the marked point until the next 15 min, so in retrospect it is only seen when the crossing has already occurred, but with a 15-min delay, not when it is changing live. {image}Ignored

Disliked{quote} If the backtest method is profitable, it only needs to refresh the chart every 14p59. then check if the signal passes 50 {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} I have it so that it updates automatically at any period. The backtest will not help you, because the false crosses that have occurred live cannot be seen, the cross is confirmed and set 15 candles after it occurred on M1.Ignored
