Disliked{quote} I would recommend reading through at least a few weeks of Brixen's journals. Despite him using a different trading style his experiences and market assessments while riding the horse are of utmost value for everyone here. You should watch behavior and price action for some time first. Only with time you will recognize the hours to trade and the ones to avoid. Using his analogy the horse has a run and afterwards it needs a rest. This repeats over and over again. Then we have a very special situation this week. It's expiration time and enough...Ignored
Disliked{quote} With respect, there's no such thing as a non repainting zigzag. By it's very nature it has to. And your charts shows exactly the points the zigzag touched until it finally found a halt.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Brixen, I'm a bit confused; In my charts, the minimum price level of today's session is 634 for the DAX index. If you bought at 621, I guess the Dec 21 future traded at that level. When you post charts, are you posting the index or the future's chart? I guess the movement is very similar, but the price levels might be different. Can you comment a bit on this? Can we trade the index? or you recommend trading the future's contract?Ignored
Disliked{quote} That's why I hate rollover futures, a lot of different prices for various instruments trading the DAX. Luckily tomorrow this chaos will end!!! OK, let's clear the situation, 7:50CET prices were these below: DAX CASH INDEX (pre market) :15640 DAX MINI FUTURE SEPTEMBER: 15641 (FDXM SEPTEMBER) DAX MICRO FUTURE DECEMBER:15621 (FDXS DECEMBER) As my order FDXS DECEMBER was filled I wrote my post, as usual I do. Disliked{quote} eehh! old usual tricks, catch some stops, scare weak hands, expecting the worst...and then they shoot up anyway these days are not for us, they are doing their job, they dont care of anything for now, every data is an excuse is good to move prices wherever they want. after rollover is closed, REAL GAMES will start, so save your bullets cause new fireworks will start nexr week,Ignored
Disliked{quote} well, you are right, should save the bullets. but i was in gambling mode today unfortunately. now in hindsight there were just many good opportunities to buy dips/pullbacks for 10, 20, 30 points. and that's where i usually take the money and run. funny how i'm sitting with 2 CFDs @700 again, just like yesterdayIgnored
Dislikeddone. relatively ok. had few winners and those were strong notional. good day. but, battled some xagusd- so lots of nervous gone by defending the longz on that animal. perfect day to position myself on silver well, i did survive another day {image}Ignored

Disliked{quote} More than 50% of Bank/Brokers are aumatically closing all positions in place for every kind of SEPTEMBER futures, at this time of the day, I mean the day before official expiration, I guess only Big Institutionals and Funds will follow the exactly tomorrow deadline. So some adjustments is going on obviously. Anyway 694 right now.Ignored
Disliked{quote} hm, i don't really fear those expiration days/rollovers, because the bigger players want to do this as price neutral as possible. some weird movements on friday, but nothing wild (those movements can be understood and even be exploited if one understands what the options/futures speculators are doing). after all, the spread between september and december contract should not be too elastic. i think there are speculators specializing on arbitrage, who keep this in order.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I meant that these hours some adjustemts is going on, small adjustments, as big move was made last week. imho. Remember last wed- Sept 8. at the opem when they went down from 850 to 590 zone in less than an hour?Ignored
DislikedPaolo MALDINI here below yd at Anfield joking with Liverpool manager Klopp. Now he's technical Director at AC MILAN, after he played always same team for 25 years in a row. As player he won 5 Champions League, 5 UEFA SuperCup, 3 World Cup Team. I guess it ìs almost impossible nowadays to have a player for so many years in same team.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uS9mR_s7srEIgnored
