DislikedHi two trades with normal lot size. Using the TL to find convergence with the main PA. Short EU {image} Long UJ {image} The thing is that I used a variation for the second one to verify if there was convergence as well. {image} I think that the SL level can be tighter, I need to check it. I will run a massive test on a simulator. Both trades were taken too early imo. I don't know if it was relevant, I will check it too. Regarding the confluence of news release, I personally think news do not have an impact on pricing and if you have a clear view...Ignored

Also base on the rule of the system we never take the break out of the trendline but we wait for the retest? is there a time period we have to wait for the retest after the break of the TL before taking a trade?Ignored
Disliked{quote} There is more price compression going on in setup A than in B. And as you can see the TL of A is more slanted than that of B. To your last question, there is no time period, just look at what price is doing and judge for yourself if the retest is worth taking. Ideally we want to see reversal signatures as price is approaching the TL breakout line. And usually price will arrive at these TL breakout lines around news events.
