This past week I deposited $250 into a NADEX account. At first I tried trading the 5 minute binary options offered on forex pairs. But it didn't end up working so well. Then I tried trading 20 Minute index options and have increased the balance to $830 or $580 profit.
My strategy for money management is simple. All money earned is considered "free trade money". Because if all is lost the original $250 is the risk. Doesn't matter if I lose $500 or $10,000.
NADEX binary option orders are settled in lots of $100. So for every $100 I earn or lose add/subtract the lot size. For an $800 account the risk is 8 lots. This equates to risking 50%ish of the balance depending on strike percentage. As you will see below transactions cost is $1 per lot.
I like to wait for the contract to end so I can get the full amount of money instead of bailing out mid trade whether it be a win or lose.
This journal will track my progress .
