DislikedHere interesting strategy... Open SELL... when go UP X pips then open BUY with 2x volume. When go DOWN open SELL 2x volume. SELL 0.01 BUY 0.02 SELL 0.02 When price finally decide direction - close all opened deals on desired profit. Can be used SL for example - when opened deals count reaches N.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I will manually forward test this with red news. Will set up EA to start work on red news 1 hour. Step 5 pips (to open opposite order). Take profit 10 pips (1%). Walked manually with strategy tester last 2 weeks all red news on major pairs - all deals were ok. Will use stop loss 20% of the account (max dd was 15%). Risk/reward here 20:1... Entry by trend using RSI with period 2. Timeframe M15. Enter BUY when RSI > 80 and enter SELL when RSI < 20. EA will shut down on taking profit or on the stop loss - so hunting for 1 deal only. The first...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Tomorrow 2 red news for EUDUSD. Will setup 2 charts with EA on that time: 10am to 11am and 16pm to 17pm.Ignored

Disliked{quote} This week was no red news with numeric outcome values. But well... I am too lazy maybe... So will try a different manual+automatic approach. Optimize for 1 week an EA. Run next week. Then re-optimize next week. And run next week. So run every new week with the previous week's optimization. Did this backward with Nasdaq100 for 2 months... profit 15% and max dd was 8%. Will try.Ignored
DislikedHere is real hedge: Open 1 deal BUY with MSFT and at the same time, 1 deal SELL with some weaker company (but stock price quite similar...if one price is 150 usd an another 2usd this wont work - need to balace volumes. But when 1 price 150 usd and other 100 usd it might work - just backtest for best volumes proportions) for example IBM. Close on 1% account profit.Ignored
DislikedToday disaster happened - my virtual server restarted and my 6 MT5 instances (runing averaging currencies strategies) were closed - so all opened deals about 1 hour went on freeriding My luck opened server and detected that - manually started MT5 instances and for my wonder 2 EAs didnt recovered. Usually when MT5 have runing EA on MT5 restart that EA starts automatic. But for 2 MT5 instances this didnt happen. This is bad. Because I can setup VPS so on restart it automatically restarts all MT5 instances too - but if EAs attached...Ignored
