DislikedHi, The EA does not follow Signals indicator suggestions. EA trades against the trend, while signals show into trend.Ignored
Disliked{quote} You are right! In #Post 18 https://www.forexfactory.com/thread/...3#post12322063 I wrote: --------------------- New indicator "smLazyTMA Signals_v1" Here is a simple signal indicator, only for lazy traders: - in trend direction of TMA will be generated signals when the candles cross the TMA bands. Lazy Trading idea: - Entry at next candle. - Lots calculation with 1% risk for SL on band 4. - Exit if TMA changes the direction (color) -----------------------Ignored
DislikedNew indicator to test: "smTMAcentered-TwoMAs" I think @RobinHood did tests with the MACD. Here is a MACD variant with TMA (Triangular Moving Average, centered, norepaint) instead of EMA, and with Open/Close instead of two different periods for the distance of the lines. (Some trend indicators use the crossing of the Close indicator line with the Open indicator line to determine long or short signals.) {image} {file} {file}Ignored
DislikedThanks, I think this is very prudent for you to apply such logic to follow trend, while picking good spots for trade entries. I know you are very occupied but for semi-automated trading, can you incorporate trading signals from this LAZY_Signal indicator to the EA? I have separate trade management software, but would just like expert to trigger trades, based on the Signal indicator. I think the world will be better place if you could do that Best wishes, I {quote}Ignored
DislikedI searched the whole site - where can I get the smTMMS Oscillator_v7.3.1 indicator? Help me please To receive signals from the indicator. Rusty Google translationIgnored
Disliked{quote} I would have to check what that means but which indicator and which EA? We have trend and countertrend methods. But the old indicators and the old EAs were programmed a year ago and if I make a new EA with the indicator and it is not used for another year, then I get depressed ...Ignored

DislikedWell - too exited, too soon. The LAZY Signal 3.1 indicator in backtesting produces quite a lot of false signals, which need to be addressed. Swingman, have you managed to find a way around the repainting issue? {image} Also, there are plenty of basic rule violations e.g. buy and sell deals are indicated against the main trend, see here: Hope that you can check that out. Good luck!Ignored
Disliked{quote} Why don't you use Husky Bands v_2.2? I believe it is similar and some issues have been resolved. I don't understand your question about repainting. It has been written a hundred times by me, @mladen, @robots4me etc. that TMA is a repainting average, and everyone should get along with it or use other indicators.Ignored

DislikedLatest Husky Bands seems visually accurate but unfortunately I am having serious issues to run it in the Tester. It just fails immediately and no result is produced, tried different troubleshooting methods but no avail. So if any users here have good tips how to make Husky run in Tester, would appreciate it a lot. If Husky signals are reliable, then having simple EA to execute them would be both nice and effective as like many of you I do not have time to sit and watch all day 15+ pairs for potential market entries. Only additional feature what...Ignored
Disliked{quote} To my point of view I don't trust back testing To me is not reliable. I always forward testing indicators or EA's to see the accuracy and reliability I know it's more time consuming but to me that's a real testing Just put her in the deep water and will se what happensIgnored
