Disliked{quote} Hi Earle I am throwing together a quick H4 v2 of the SAR TS2 and would like to base it on what you are doing using the SAR along with the BO Lines. Here is a screen shot of where I am at so far, but would like to know your steps you take to enter a trade. I will test this next week. So far I look for a change of direction from the SAR and then place a BO Line at the appropriate SAR location. In the screen shot it would be looking for a short if price breaks the BO Line. 1) Do you look for a close after the BO Line or just price passing through...Ignored
Direction of 50 SMA and SAR is critical. S9 direction V2 alerts me of a top or bottom when SMA is flat.
Step 1: I look at the S9 direction v2
Step 2: Direction of the 50 SMA
step 3: If 50SMA is pointing down and SAR changes from up to down
Step 4: I place sell BO line below the lowest low a few pips as the green dot will likely be near the lowest low.
I place the buy BO line just above the end of the 50 SMA.
Note: when the 50 SMA is close to flat, I am thinking of placing the buy BO line a few pips above the latest green dot or sell BO line below the latest red dot.
I haven't tried this yet. Just a thought. I usually set the lines in evening hours and turn on the S9 CT
I hope this is not too confusing.
Earle
