Under normal circumstances of course retail does not move the market but as we all know markets go down faster than up and with the current situation in the world and markets, shorting any amount as a cumulative total in my opinion is adding to the worsening situation, especially on indexes.

sorry but i will have to disagree with you, there are people here on the forum and elsewhere that have their own agenda when it comes to trying to convince others that institutions chase retail positions for liquidity, it simply is not true, it is the market itself that is constantly searching for liquidity to fill orders.
