DislikedEURUSD NY session wrap up: There was no follow through to the downside, buyers emerged, but not overtly, more of a hidden buying. Only big players have the deep pockets to support the market. But there are also big players selling hard, price stopped drifting up and is getting compressed, coiling up. It is gonna burst one way or another soon enough, my forecast still gives the bears the upper hand, so the prices have higher potential of keep going lower. If price doesnīt break the 1.09798 level with strength, conviction and follow through, price...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi ,HiddenGap I am a newcomer to FF forum, and it is also the first time to know the VSA method. This thread seems to have started for a very long time. After reading several main speakers in the post, it seems that only you are still active now. From your reply, you seems highly admire the replies of MALC and PRES78, so I am now ready to study this thread while watching Master the markets (MTM) by Tom, and especially the replies of several people you mentioned. Do you think this is a good way to learn? after all, the prices they...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Master The Markets is way better. Gavin is Tomīs pupil so, it is the same thing, but better to go straight to the source. I would recommend you to read MTM several times, until you puke. Then read "Trades About To Happen" by David Weis, several times. And then you can read them again every month or couple of months. At least I have been doing in the last couple of years.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thank you for sharing your reading experience. I read some of the book "Trades About To Happen", and my first impression is that it is full of many price action skills, and I don't like to track price actions as I always hold the idea that "BE ahead of price but not to follow the price". Maybe I haven't read the whole book yet and since you said it was useful, I will study it carefully later. thanks again~Ignored
Disliked{quote} It is on par with MTM. David Weis is one of the best Wyckoff specialists in the world. Maybe you went "green" to read the book and didnīt understand. Better to read MTM a couple times, then go for Trades About To Happen, and everything will sink in. It is not a price action book, it is pure VSA/Wyckoff. Well, it is price action combined with volume analysis, hence VSA. You will never be ahead of price, the best you can do is being concurrent with the market, judging it by itīs own action (price/volume relationship) to reach a logical conclusion....Ignored
Disliked{quote} Ok, I will follow your advice. There is also a small problem that I trade in the China futures market(A Theoretically Typical Zero-sum Market,it is also a competition game with the roughly same principle of FOREX). Is the principle in the book equally valid in the market I trade in?Ignored
Disliked{quote} It works in any market and any timeframe. It can be a chart from 1930, 1980, 2019, it is all the same.Ignored
