Disliked{quote} I dont understand this picture. Because this is not first today's candle this is the second today's candle? Why? We r speaking about 1st candle today , is it?Ignored
HoLo's can happen at anytime during the trading day.
I would never take a trade on the first candle of the new trading day, as the spreads are often larger than for the rest of the day. (certainly with my broker)
Also, being the first candle of the day, you have no previous candles to "measure" off.
But there is no reason why you can't take a trade off the second candle of the day.....if there is a VALID setup, then there is no real reason not to take it.
The Asian session is sometimes less volatile (quiet) that the UK and US sessions.
Having said that, you will often get dramatic moves on NZD, AUD and JPY pairs when news releases come out for those pairs......and they will almost always occur during the Asian session, so I always consult the Calendar to be aware of possible volatility.
I hope that helps.
