Quoting mestx41DislikedThis is interesting 25! I origonally used EMA's in my system but found that the WMA was just more accurate, but i'm gonna put your numbers in and try a whole bunch of combinations to see which ones make the best crosses...any defense on part of the EMA's?Ignored
Quoting accreteDislikedUsually by Friday Dialist has posted some silly week-end tid bit or funny joke : ) Well Hidethereal gets my vote for "funny of the day" with his quote above.

Quoting accreteDislikedGreetings Peter and company. In no was was i taking a shot at this "system", rather the comment was made that there are ...that is what i found funny, and though the number of MA systems posted is slightly lower than the one quoted, one would find humor in the statement. Basicaly, as many in this and other threads have stated, MA crosses are every where. They are not evil or good in their nature, they are just a tool. And as there are many, many tools for a craftsmen to choose from, there are also that many here to choose from in FX trading.

Quoting mestx41DislikedI just closed this trade last night at 12 am when the new candle opened...it was on eur/aud...I used 1:1 leverage and saw an 89 pip gain (7 pip spread included)...the trade wen't on for 3 days...also if you guys wan't i'll start posting some trades as I make them after this weekend. Also a little tip...I use alertfx to let me know when these crosses occur so I dont have to watch like 20 charts constantly!Ignored
Quoting mestx41Disliked...First you set up WMA 4, WMA 15, and WMA 40...
now when the 40 crosses with the 4 you open your position, and when the 40 crosses the 15 you close it...Ignored
Quoting Mr TrendDislikedRe: stop losses. What will you do when your system goes down and you have to get parts to fix it and the market turns against you?
What will you do with another 9/11 hits (and it will sooner or later) and you can't get out because spreads have just went up to 500 or higher (like silver did 6 months ago)?
Once again, unless you have a strategy where you're in and out in and out really quickly, not having a stop loss is like playing russian roulette.Ignored
Quoting petercrossDislikedHey accrete,
I'm sorry if I sounded harsh or so. By no means I thought you where "attacking" the system. I was just confused. Sometimes thoughts and feelings don't get conveyed perfectly through posts, because of the medium itself, lack of time to write properly and for many here English is not the main language (sorry for mispellings or wrong grammar, I make big efforts to write in english...) Anyway, I appreciate your contributions on other threads and consider you a professional contributor !
Wish you the best my friend.
By the way, could the originator of the method explain how the exit works? Funny, I see good entry points, but sometimes the exit points are not very clear to me. Like here:Ignored
Quoting mestx41DislikedYou open when the wma 40 crosses the 4, and close when the 40 crosses the 15...UNLESS the lines are heavily consolodated at the time of opening, which then you wait until the 15 crosses the 4 to close.Ignored
Quoting llambert3Dislikedok mestx, your system intrigues me for some reason. I guess I'll ask my questions here instead of in everybody else's thread.
You mentioned possibly shorting aud/usd after today's close (on another thread). Why wouldn't today's candle be a LONG candle, thus ignoring, and even if ignoring that the prior candles appear to be black crows. I know they are not perfect candles, but just appears that way. Can you explain?
Next, you say above to close when 40 crosses 15. I am confused by this because after the 4 crosses 40 (to enter trade) shortly after the 15 crosses 40 and you would exit the trade and miss a possible run. I thought you may have mistyped this on the front page because if you wait until 4 crosses 15, you get more pips (or even using the parabolic sar)..
Anyway thanks for the system and thanks for answering (if you can)Ignored
