Disliked{quote} oh... and enter the time next to "from date" same as the start of your "session". Keep in mind, if there is a single trade that overlaps the start times of session under chart settings, it WILL skew the trade log statistics for sure.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Might want to read up details here on how order fills are matched in Sierra. Complex stuff but peel the onion and it makes sense to do it this way for 3rd party products who have to rely on data service providers. https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/TradeActivityLog.php#OrderFillMatchingMethodsIgnored
Disliked{quote} Been looking into ninja trader. Im curious if it does daily and monthly summary and how that looks like. You have experience with it?. I think it's good for automation tooIgnored
Disliked{quote} Never used NT but feel it is just like MT4 if it is offered via download by your broker. Based on what I know about software engineering, trading platforms HAS to be independent of your broker or service provider. I don't use CQG desktop either... only to monitor and validate my tradelog. Sierra also offers their own data feed with some server-side advanced capabilities and I would not use them either. Transparency and conflict of interest is of paramount important to me when it comes to big money play :- Also, with NT, there is no way to...Ignored

Disliked{quote} What do you mean? I use Ninja Trader with GFF broker and it's pretty obvious to me that I am using a live account. Even if you use the "sim" option, the order screen changes color. The control panel and the order screen also give the account name. I admit that it dose not have a nice little P&L box like Sierra which I am hoping they will introduce. The running total is only on the control panel.Ignored
Disliked{quote} there was some discussion earlier on in this thread in regards to doing livestream from Sierra versus NT. I believe it was magnumfreak who has mentioned something to that effect. May be it was in relation to the ability to "hide" market replay feature making it appear as if it is from live trading or something to that effect. Anyways, my rule of thumb is, if the platform is only available from your broker's website instead of an independent source, it could be a customized version without our knowledge just like crapt4. unless, you really...Ignored
Disliked{quote} that's one thing i like about sierra, you can tell right away if it's a sim account (blue) vs non sim. but for streaming purposes, not sure why it's relevant. its' about trading in the moment. the max lag i've seen in stream is 20sec. This can be an advantage IF YOU ARE RECORDING vs LIVESTREAMING. I can show you 100% win in recording, but in livestream i can't stop can i lol. if your avg holding period is within 20 seconds, i guess you could cheat in livestream by running the replay side by side and possibly pass off as a great scalper lol....Ignored

Disliked{quote} I am intrigued as I could be hit by this scenario and I don't like the unknowns as you know :-( could you please list the actions you have taken thus far in Sierra to address this issue?Ignored
