Disliked{quote} Hi Tekkies, Do you use the m15 chart ir the h1 chart to exit trades. As I trade on the h4 to see the angle and then go back down to H1 to find the cross I tend to leave the trade on even if h1 crosses back over as long as h4 is still pointing in the direction of the trade. Your opinion would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards, ROniIgnored
DislikedHi guys! Had a long absence in fx trading, family, job, studying. Would like to start again and spotted the TDI. Still reading posts, but I always like to test learned stuff quite quickly, becouse exercising at least I learn faster. If I am allowed to, I would like to ask you a question regarding H1/H4. Two charts: First 1H - Screenshot2.png, seems like an entry to me (short) Second 4H - Screnshot3.png, shows in the opposite direction (long) Would you take the short or not? Thx a lot for feedback Cris {image} {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} - Which timeframe is the Master time frame - H1 or H4? Then that timeframe must be used to close trades. - Do you feel comfortable to see price take some profit back when H1 change short term direction? ---------------------- Difficult to answer with a clear cut rule. The safetes will be to apply Post#647 and S/R level again to the open trade. (This would contradict above post regarding "Discretionary or Objective or Subjective".) Am using both M15/H1 to enter and exit trades. - Why did H1 change direction? Did price encounter a S/R level...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Tekkies- thanks again for your prompt reply. I use the h4 to see the angles similar to you using the h1 and then scoping down to the lower time frame to pick the cross and bounce. Ive had some success with this method, but also some losses like the one I've attached below where the angle is perfect on the h4 and the cross also occurs on the h1 but then the trade reverses. Any ideas in which to avoid these type of tradesand only commit to high probability trades? Should I use the 5 ema and only take trades that close outside the line for...Ignored

Disliked{quote} Remember it is easy to spot mistakes in hindsight trading, in the heat of the moment you do those mistakes with out thinking. - Get control of your emotions. - Reduce lot size so that you don't "panic" when price goes against the trade. Forget the advice about using 2% of account. Use the lot size you are comfortable to trade with. Remember that a small size will allow you to trade with a relaxed attitude. The moment you experience discomfort when a trade goes really bad fast the lot size is to big. Say this because it look like you "panicked"...Ignored

Disliked{quote} I don't trade correlating pairs, can't help you. (Edit or Repost please) ---- Two chart's posted are EURCAD H1 /H4 I look for opportunities on the H4 chart - That is not trading it is gambling. Are you following method with a set of rules? - TDI crossover on H1 with H4 green confirming direction of intend trade? crossed yet as it had another two hours left for the whole H4 bar to complete - There is your problem. Have previously posted that a lot can happen on H1 during four houres. Look at H4 TDI green. - Don't see any sign that green is...Ignored

Disliked{quote} Hi Tekkies, Thanks for your response as usual. The two charts I posted are from different timeframes- So I use H4 to pick out angles the same way you use H1, I then go down to the H1 chart to find an entry like you do on the M15. The thing is that on the chart posted the green on the H4 is flat as you rightly pointed out, however the green was at a nice pointy short angle, and the H1 gave the entry which I took, all of a sudden it turned. Now this could be due to the fact the h4 candle had 2 more hours to close. So do you suggest waiting...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Roni I trade with M15/ H1. Can not advice you how to trade with H1/H4 because the time span between H1 and H4 is for me to long. To many "things" can go wrong or right in four houres. - Try to place a trade when H4 is about to crossover say 10 / 15 min before new bar start. "way some trades will be missed" So what! Don't be greedy. Rather wait for the correct set up. Post 92,514 One big trade will give more pips then (say) 10 small trades {image}Ignored
