Quoting rideblitzDislikedhow do you like .05 percent compared to .1, i know it gives more trades, but are the "quality of the trade" still good? as in not a lot of false signals?
and how do you like the Euro on 5minute? i usually use 1min, but have good luck with usdcad on 5min, so am exploring the idea of trying the Euro on 5min.
thanks for all the help the past day or soIgnored
So to answer your question, I think I've found a high percentage of quality trades because I've tinkered with settings, finding a great combination for standard lots. Fully sixty percent of my losses were "NFP induced"; another 20% or so were due to a tight SL of 42 which doesn't work for me. Eliminating the "NFP induced" losses and changing the SL significantly improved the trade quality.
Highly volatile pairs I think should be traded on 5 min (or higher??) charts. That's explained in the thread somewhere and I think it's true. Some traders stay away from the volatile pairs (that's probably the longest timeframe ).
